The ending to this trilogy was clever, but there are far more plot holes than just asking what the apples were all about.
I really enjoyed the writing of this story, every single page was woven with magic. I’m not a big fan of YA stories anymore but I still enjoyed this series. I probably would’ve been obsessed with this if I’d read it 15 years ago honestly. I think I enjoyed the style of writing more than I enjoyed anything else, really. Definitely something I would suggest to someone who just wants a cute YA romantasy. But that’s all it is, a cute YA romantasy.
