Book Review: Loathe to Love You
3.25 ⭐️ | 2 🌶️ (2.5?)

I had a good time with these novellas. If you enjoy Ali Hazelwood, I can guarantee that you’ll probably love these stories. They all have her quirky charm and fun banter between the romantic leads. All three stories are so different from each other, but are interconnected in a way that’s going to keep you invested. I loved the epilogue and would definitely recommend that you check this out. If interested below are my individual reviews of each story.

Under One Roof: Liam and Mara
4.5 ⭐️
I absolutely loved this enemies to lovers, forced proximity, slowburn romance. Was it like every other single Ali Hazelwood book that I’ve read? Yes. But did I enjoy the yearning and the slow build of their friendship to romance? Heck yes. I read this one in one sitting and really just want more of this couple please and thank you. I’d like to add that Liam‘s instant crush on her was the sweetest thing to read. This man is in love and I enjoyed that. 🥹

Stuck with You: Erik and Sadie

I’ll admit this one wasn’t my favorite. I found the pacing to be a bit frustrating. I’d rather us have spent more time in the present than flipping back to the past. Their miscommunication was incredibly frustrating and I also felt that their conflict was pushed under the rug. However, the spice was nice and I do think that the couple themselves were compatible! It helps that the MMC was a Thor look alike 😋

Bellow Zero: Hannah and Ian
4 ⭐️
I will say, I struggled a little bit with our FMC here, Hannah, at first. I found her to be a little bit unlikable.  Why? I was frustrated with her lack of emotional awareness. However, she kept growing on me and Ian even more so! 🥹 (my sweet baby ginger man)  This man listed off parts of her body as topography from Mars. I mean come on?! How is this man even real?! Great question , he’s not but I wish she was 😂. Warning this short story involves the miscommunication trope, and if you are sensitive to it, please be advised to proceed with caution. That being said this was probably my favorite after Under One Roof. I wouldn’t mind more from these two in a full length novel.

Final thoughts:
Should this spill into your TBR? Yes if you want a quick, fun, and easy read that isn’t a major commitment, I say go for it.
