So this book was very fine. I didn't love it but I also didn't hate it. It was just a solid book about death.
Bud was an interesting character. The poor guy was just down bad and it was rough to read sometimes. But he was also surrounded by some pretty decent friends which I think was quite helpful for him.
My biggest struggle was the writing style. Sometimes sentences ran on for entire paragraphs which than would lose me in the process. It sometimes came off as high brow and I had to reread things. But otherwise it was fine and that's really all I have to say about the book.
