Make You Love Me by Alexandra Grace

4.5 ⭐️

Make You Love Me is a second chance romance that follows Jordan and Nora. Jordan, a recently retired military vet, is in a car wreck that causes him to forget the past year of his life. He thinks that Nora is still his girlfriend, and he’s positive that she’s the love of his life. Nora, who has spent the last year pretending that she was fine with her and Jordan ending things on not so amicable terms, finds herself face to face with Jordan at the VETS Center. Against her better judgment, Nora agrees to her friends’ request to play along as Jordan’s girlfriend.

In this story, we see how Nora’s traumatic past threatens to ruin the future she truly hopes to have. Alexandra Grace does an amazing job of writing a beautiful story. This book has raw emotion and it pulls on your heartstrings in the best possible way. This was my first Alexandra Grace book, but I definitely want to dive into her other books! Although you don’t have to have read her Journey series to understand this novel, I do think that would help in understanding references to the side characters within this book.

I love the adventures that Jordan and Nora take in this book to rekindle their love for one another. My only critique would be that the ending of the book felt a bit rushed for my liking. Other than that, this is a book that I would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a second-chance, closed door romance with sexual tension that adds the perfect amount of spice.
