Wow.

That might have been the most disappointing book I've read this year.

It's meant to be a thriller but it did not thrill me at all. And I'm saying that as a chicken. My heart beats faster when I'm asleep than at any point when I was reading this book.

To be fair it was entertaining, if only for the fact that I finished it over two days. There was nothing that I actively hated while reading it. However the plot isn't really original, the characters aren't interesting. Everybody is rich, white, and attractive. I didn't feel anything for them, love or hatred. The twists and turns were.. nonexistent.

I had heard high praises for this book, but it's nothing but mediocre.
