Blood Brothers by Nora Roberts

5.0

Three young boys go into Hawkins woods as young innocent boys excited about turning ten. A camping trip to the legendary Pagon Stone is in order. At midnight, they turn ten, and cut their wrists to form a blood pact. Blood brothers forever. They left the woods no longer innocent and each left with something they didn't have before.

Every Seven years, for seven days, Hawkins Hollow changes and things get crazy. Cal, Fox, and Gage are men and have dealt with this for years. Hiring Quinn, a woman writing a book about the town, could be good. An outsiders perspective might be the thing they need to figure out how to fix the issue.

This was so good. I love the amount of team work that goes on between the six. I think Quinn brings enough light and knowledge in to circumvent some of the unknown. I find that the history of what happened long ago in relation to what is happening now, is the perfect segue. Looking forward to book two and the next phase in defeating the darkness that came from the stone.
