loved the story! but felt like the book hurt sometimes from the author making things a tad bit too overexplained and explicit. considering the topics, the audience of the novel would be able to come to many of the conclusions she wanted us to arrive without moments where the descriptions felt redundant, making it feel like the book needed a bit more refinement to scrap those moments
