This was great! It started a little slow (I know, world building, but I'm impatient), but once Toru finally meets up with the alpha Ren, I was hooked. Despite the usual Alpha "you're mine" thing, Ren didn't force himself on Toru, and allowed him time and freedom to choice his fate for himself (not that his alternative was that great). Watching them slowly come to know and grow closer together was just sweet, and there were some exciting action scenes as well as sexy times. Seeing Ren give Toru respect for his abilities and watching him admire instead of squelch Toru's feisty personality just added so much fun and depth to this story.

I have now read everything available by this author on Amazon, and I'm hoping she writes more soon!
