Oh my gosh this book was an absolute riot!
I don’t think I’ve laughed this hard in a romance book ever.
Cinnamon is our FMC who on a night of celebration gets quite drunk and ends up stumbling across a man who seems to be trapped under a rockslide. However she quickly finds out that this man is actually a demon who begins to chase her through her family’s cinnamon fields. Thankfully she escapes and barres herself inside her family home where her family is quite disbelieving of her drunken escapades. That is until the demon shows up at their front door offering her family’s safety if she helps him destroy the fake goddess.
What ensues is a wild ride of travels, the release of other demons and a heck of a lot of tension between cinnamon and her demon.
While the book is certainly unbelievable it carries a certain charm that has you swooning one moment then laughing your ass off at the next. I loved the variety of characters and the story was definitely interesting. I will say the spice was a bit tamer than I was expecting but still some hot moments for sure!
