"you end up noticing the little things, you know? Things that change or stay the same through the seasons. You find beauty in the little things."

"There's so much out there- people, decisions, so many different paths..."

It definitely feels like we explored the characters a lot more indepth this volume! I'm really enjoying getting to know Musa more, I love them hanging around to get to know Zach and Sam (not that she's overly fond ahahah). I really enjoyed that one awkward scene where Zach and Musa ended up going the same way, so relatable. Pretty sure Zach and Musa had a tiny little friends/flirt going on... ANYWAY, I really felt for Zhen in this volume too, he doesn't know where to stand but he wants to keep his life how it is and he wants to stay out of the way of publicity and his siblings- totally understandable, but also sad because Musa wants to meet him and feels bad he's been left out there! I'm intrigued by Sam's divination power, makes sense why she was giving information to Aria. I loved the artwork with her divination/stargazing scenes as well as her deck of cards, as Zach says, the art of Sam's playing cards "are really nice"! The inclusivity in this series is wonderful and although I cannot relate to how the characters feel being immigrants/from a diaspora, it's good seeing the experiences expressed here so that people like myself can get an understanding while also being relatable to those who also feel the same as the characters!
