Traveling Light by Lynne Branard

4.0

A book about changes, new friends, family, time, love, a three-legged dog named Casserole and a road trip to take a man's ashes home, this book was a fun, witty, light read with plenty of nuggets of wisdom thrown in. I flew through this just as quickly as I did The Art of Arranging Flowers and would recommend to anyone in need of a contemporary that features an adult protagonist still trying to figure out her place. "Most people die how they live", as she so eloquently writes, and this book will make you think about how you want to live and if that includes traveling a little lighter.
