It was very hard to rate Through the Water Curtain, and it was also very hard to read! I needed more than a year to finish the book.
Cornelia Funke is one of my favourite authors. That is the reason why I bought the book. A few of the fairy tales are interesting or even enchanting, like the Frog Princess. Unfortunately, a few of the other fairy tales are very dark and extremely gory. This is why it was a difficult, mixed reading experience.
