DEV1AT3 by Jay Kristoff

So in three days I won't be able to say this anymore (hooray, new book!) but for now, this is true: I have read every book Jay Kristoff has written, and each one has been friggin awesome.

(Ok, I didn't read that poorly-concieved weeaboo series because I didn't want to like him less. But everything else.)

I think this is a worthy follow-up to Lifelike, and it was surprising and funny and exciting in all the right ways. If I had to criticize something, I'd say that compared to everyone else's POV, Evie's fell pretty flat for me. The promo set her up as the big villain, that it would be her vs. Lemon, and it didn't really play out that way. Her characterization was thin and pretty predictable. I think all the other plotlines held up well, though.
