The Silent Ones by K.L. Slater

2.0

I don’t think I could confidently give a summary of this book because I truly don’t even know what happened. There was no sort of organization at all. The book is written from 4 different perspectives with 80% of the book written from “Juliet’s” point of view, which at that point you might as well just have her narrate the whole book!!! The plot was all over the place and there was too much happening. There were points when I truly forgot that a murder was supposed to be investigated.

This is also hardly a thriller. There isn’t any sort of suspense and when you do find out what happens (within the last 10 pages of the book), you’re left feeling unsatisfied. The only reason I’m rating this book 2 stars is because of the last 3 pages.
