i listened to most of this as an audiobook and felt that the narrators were what saved me from not immediately DNFing this. this book had such an interesting premise but i felt lost in the separate storylines and thought they seemed too disconnected to make sense. despite only going into this book thinking it'd be about a guy trying to work his way up the corporate ladder in hell, i actually enjoyed the messy drama of the harrison family way more

- silas's obsession with sarah and ruth gave me the biggest ick
- cal's story made ZERO SENSE to me am i just dumb
- i love mickey and sean's lil sibling relationship
