Masters of Death by Olivie Blake

3.0

The story lacks high stakes and, you know, a bit of adrenaline or something? I can't say I was bored; it's a good story, but I wasn't worried about any of the characters at any point. There was no sense of danger when I was reading it, and I think it would've benefited from having it.
Also, I didn't quite get what the point of the game was, what indicated winning or losing.
Isis was probably my favorite character, and Death at the beginning was pretty cool and funny.
