Probably my favorite book thus far in the series. I really enjoyed the characters and the intriguing world building. I could hardly put this book down and cannot wait for the next installment.
The only thing I would change is the way Sharon Shinn's stories seem to come to an abrupt and overly tidy end. There is no denouement to process the climactic action, and all the loose story lines are gathered in a pretty bow and concluded within a chapter.
