This book was extremely gut-wrenching and real, and all around a very important read. As a middle-class Caucasian teenager, I was still able to relate to this book and certain areas, and yet walk away from this reading experience a different, and hopefully better, person. For anyone who wants to better understand the society we live in, from all perspectives, this book is a must read.
