The author’s language just disharms you, in a good way of course. What I probably missed was some development in characters and in the story. We know nothing about the characters - why are they there (except for Thérèse), how did they even developt their love for each other… I get that it probably was meant to be an erotica but if it’s an trilogy and for most of it’s based on the author’s life, I shall only say that she knows her pleasures, but not herself and her lover… I can’t imagine she didn’t know anything about her…
