All the Wrong Moves by Nikki Carter

4.0

I was going to rate this 3 stars, but the ending picked it up.

Sunday is an up-and-coming recording artist along with her cousin Dreya (a.k.a Drama) & Dreya's boyfriend, Truth. Her mentor is Mystique, the international platinum record selling artist & Big D, who handles everything from beats to safety.

In the beginning of the book, Sunday can't decide whether she likes Sam. Especially when Sam gets jealous and takes another girl out to prom. Things get extra heated just when BET decides to follow them on tour. When Dilly another premier artist comes on tour, Sunday can't decide who she wants to kick it with. Sam or Dilly. And will this effect her road to her dream college, Spelman?

Meanwhile, Dreya has major attitude. She constantly fights with the stylist and treats her own best friend/assistant Bethany like sh*t. Can you blame her? Behind Dreya's back, Bethany is creeping with Truth & Dreya's mom (Sunday's aunt) Charlie is dancing at the club with boys who could be her son.

Sunday also gets caught up with gangsters when her mom's boyfriend Carlos tells her about a plan to kidnap Dilly, who's related to the people who tried to shoot Carlos.

I know, try to keep up.

Overall, this book was entertaining although our narrator, Sunday, goes off topic a lot.
