Agamemnon by Aeschylus

3.5

This is a good play, but not great. I think the potential of Clytemnestra is a bit wasted, the other tragedians usually manage to provide more three-dimensional portraits of morally grey women. Although Cassandra on the other hand does rightfully shine, which is great to see. I mean, in general, both these female characters are more relevant than Agamemnon himself, and we love that for them. But yeah, not my favourite ever.
