Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Ibram X. Kendi, Jason Reynolds
5.0
it was really really good
it's a nonfiction book, it basically summarizes the origin of racism and how we got to where we are today
it's obviously not all the untaught history but it does a really good job of summarizing the racist history we either don't get taught in schools, or don't get taught enough in school
i usually don't like nonfiction bc it's hard to stay focused, but the way this was written was really engaging and interesting, not at all like a typical history book
it's also under 200 pages so it's really easy to read within like a day or less even if you're busy all day
