Brave FMC in a magical world fighting bad guys and falling in love, what's not to like? Sure, this lacks originality, but there's nothing overtly bad about it, and I get authors wanting to ride this wave as long as they can. Saeris and Fisher aren't my favorite from this genre, but the side characters are done well. I do appreciate the nod to the Fisher King legend. Hoping the next one builds on the world and magic more but requesting proof of life for Onyx IMMEDIATELY
