The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller

5.0

I had to read this book after a second read of Circe led me here. This is an amazing look at the Trojan war from someone who seems a satellite character: Achilles’ companion from youth, Patroclus. Their love and devotion to one another is unfazed by threats from Achilles’ goddess mother and the war around them. I admit I was teary to have this book come to an end.
