was sloggin along for the majority of the book. felt as though there were scenes that added nothing to the plot.
aka why was the teacher even a pivotal character, like the death scene just felt out of nowhere and had no tension. it felt like the protagonist made every wrong decision.
the romance was fast, but i could look the other way since its a fairytale. i will say the last bit of the book did pull me in and got me excited for the next book i just wish that the pacing was similar throughout, i also really loved the asyltal scene it gave me cottage core fairy vibes that i really wished was more apparent
