When You Were Mine by Lisa Swift

3.0

I‘m often fooled by book covers. This was a free book of the week on Apple Books a while back and I started reading it expecting pleasant nonsense. And some bits of the plot are quite outlandish but that's what fiction's for, and I ended up loving the unconventional family in the book. Perhaps the ending was all a bit tidy but again, it's fiction, let‘s dream life can turn out so neatly. An author that I'd pick up again because I found it an uplifting read.
