I really liked how this book started out. However, the longer the book went the more plot holes there were!
First of all, she’s also a sexual predator?! And just gets oof free?
Second of all where did all the fucking pumpkins and birds come from? He said that it USED to be a pumpkin patch and it wasn’t Halloween so they are just pulling them out of thin air?!
Hudson was literally in school, even though she said that they had a lot of fun messing around with him over the last few days. How did they catch all these birds?!
So Hudson just magically had time to pick up both Eve and Addie in the middle of the night and drive them back to town?! Right there is four hours, not counting when he took Eve to the shoe store. Addie and Nate didn’t even start digging the grave until after midnight and Addie called Nate around 3am. He would have theoretically picked Addie up at 4am. Eve didn’t have cell service at the grave, but Addie did in the same location?! BEST CASE scenario Eve crawled out of the grave at 3:15 am when Addie goes to find Nate. Eve “has no cell service” and has to walk to find it. Hudson does not pick up Addie until 4am so he could theoretically turn right back around to go get Eve, picking her up at 5am, getting to the shoe store at 6am.
What happened with the baby at Hudsons house when she was leading you to believe he had a wife and child at home?
Hudson not only knows she killed her dad, also tried to kill his “girlfriend”/predator and he’s just cool with that?!
Also, cell phones go ping and cell towers go pong. Nate was on his phone on the way to the grave site. Addie, Eve and Hudson have all had their phones on there. Ain’t gonna be too hard to wrap all of that up.
The more I think about this book the more frustrated I am.
