The Book of Fire
by Christy Lefteri
informative
reflective
sad
I thought this was an informative book about the reality of climate change in warmer countries and the danger of forest fires. I didn't enjoy it as much as the other books I've read by Lefteri - I felt the story was a bit drawn out at times, repeating certain aspects of the story, likely for emphasis, but I didn't connect with it any more by its use. Overall the effect of the devastating fire that the book is centred on was well written. I thought the plot made the themes of the book more impactful.
