I wanted to love it, but I was just not connecting with the characters or the story as much as I would have liked. I debated DNFing it at about 25%, but then things became a bit more interesting. But, it just never got better after that point. Overall, I don't think it was a bad book, but it unfortunately just wasn't for me (which I'm kind of sad about because I really enjoyed the Grishaverse).
