Spells for Forgetting by Adrienne Young

5.0

Okay, wow. This book instantly got me hooked. I could not put it down.

Adrienne Young had such a captivating way of creating immersive worlds and relatable characters. I was instantly drawn into the story, with a variety of POVS, and was in love with the dark magical vibes of the island of Saoirse.

This book was full of mystery and drama. I enjoyed the way the chapters not only showed different POVs of a variety of different characters, but also jumped from past to present. It was not in anyway confusing and hard to follow. It allowed for more detail and background into the mystery.

I would absolutely recommend this book to anybody. It gave me Hocus Pocus/Stranger Things vibes, and I can't wait to read it again when the fall weather arrives!
