This one surprised me, despite the fact that it was quite short.

For me, the first part was quite rocky; it took me a while to get into it, but I'd say I eventually caught up to it.

The most relevant part I enjoyed here is one of the characters' representations of PTSD.

previous books as well.

Aside from that, the second half was more engaging as the plot and characters progressed. That one was good because there were parts that were thrilling to me.

I also enjoyed the progression of Angelina and Sergie's romance; although I was skeptical at first, their domestic scenes persuaded me.

Overall, this was an enjoyable read.
