I fell hard for this book! Didn’t know what to expect, not having read anything else by this author and only knowing the basic synopsis provided, but I loved it! I thought it was a great story full of nostalgia & nerdy references, that also encompasses themes of friendship, love, relationship structure, death and trauma, LGBTQ+ rights, equality in the video game industry, mental health, race, and disability… I think I’ll need to read it a few times over to take it all in!
