This book goes beyond my expectation. I don’t even remember what I expected to find, but I’m sure it’s definitely not pain.
I really didn’t understand why people labelled this as a mystery/thriller because my heart hurts the whole time I read the book. Not until I reach half into the story when it all makes sense and it hit me like a truck.
I don’t want to spoil anything by saying more, all I want to say is that One of the Good Ones has everything I love from a book; siblings dynamics, road trips, and a pinch (if not a handful) of creepiness.
