It seems that this year I started off with two huge cliffhangers. I gave this book three star srating using the Goodreads rating recommendation. The Poisoned Crown is a deserving em sequel to two great books but I found it not as good as the last two. It is quite an enjoyable read but I found the plot not as intense as the other two.

I cannot wait to read about the fortunes of Guccio, the Countess Mahalo and even queen Clemence in the next chapter.
