This is such a good read. Dark gothic fantasy at its best. I loved Abitha and her journey, the writing style is smooth and beautiful. The artwork inside is stunning and captures all of the interesting characters in the story.
"Good for her" in the best way.
My only issuei hate that her cat was killed. I get it, it makes sense for the time peorid. I just wish the cat was resurrected in some way. I am glad Brom didn't go into too much detail and that the actual death happened off the page.
"Good for her" in the best way.
My only issue
Graphic: Animal cruelty, Animal death, Body horror, Death, Emotional abuse, Gore, Hate crime, Misogyny, Physical abuse, Sexism, Torture, Blood, Religious bigotry, Injury/Injury detail
