Leading Without Authority: How Every One of Us Can Build Trust, Create Candor, Energize Our Teams, and Make a Difference by Keith Ferrazzi

fast-paced
Well, the concept is really good. Get your colleagues working with you and everyone wins. But the execution of the concept fell flat for me. Seemed like the book was written by someone who failed the “plays nice with others” grade in school and had to learn as an adult how to listen to other people. Most of the advice comes off a little condescending and a lot common sense, as long as you understand how to be part of a team already.  I enjoy Ferrazzi’s Inc articles but I’d stick with those. He’s better in small doses.
