do you have ANY IDEA how long i’ve had this book on my shelf?! and then after getting rid of it because and i quote “nah i’ll never get to it” i found myself rebuying it because i got curious again.
started reading it immediately and got struck with the most saddest thing i’ve read this month.
there’s a depravation with whimsical undertones in this book. these characters were dreamers but each one had to find ways to live in a real world that’s grim and violent
