I almost DNFed after the first chapter because it felt like it was 75% adjectives. The rest of the story ended up being really interesting though and I flew through it faster than expected. I liked the backstory chapters in between and seeing those come together throughout the book. The ending, however, felt like kind of mess and was a little disappointing. All of the Seattle/PNW observations were very spot-on though. Not often that I read a book that I think middle is the best part.
