The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger

5.0

I throughly enjoyed this novel. At times it was an immersive experience for me, painting a vivid picture of a blissful yet enduring romance that faces a very unique complication. I also enjoyed the thematic way the book was organized, and the way the reader was able to experience the story in chunks just as the main character did himself. This book would have received a five-star review had their not been times the story made me uncomfortable with the question whether or not the main character was guilty of, albeit unintentional, grooming. After finishing the book, and some conversations regarding my concern I have decided I will give the book the benefit of the doubt, but I do think that it should not be given to a young person without educating them on the concerns grooming. I would recommend this book to an Adult reader.
