This was such a great & enjoyable read! It was a wonderful and quick read with a story that everyone can relate and connect to.

Renown villian Ballistar Blackheart finds a sidekick in shapeshifter Nimona. She wants to be his sidekick and cause chaos to propel both of them into infamy throughout the kingdom. His arch nemesis and former best friend Ambriosius Goldenlion who works for the Institution, the governing body of the kingdom stands in the way of this goal.

The primary theme of the story is what is considered a hero and who can be a hero. The definition of being a hero is vastly different from the traditional definition we normally hear. It really asks the question of can a person be both the hero & the villian? Who is a villian? Who is a hero? I think people can be both & some people in certain positions can become the villians if they let themselves be.

I adored this comic and loved the characters! Ballister Blackheart is an amazing character, great anti hero and his relationship with Ambriosius is a great enemies who are in love relationship. His fatherly bond with Nimona was so sweet and wholesome, I adored it! This was a great comic and a great quick read to start the month.
