this is agood beginners guide to witchcraft and makes a quick read. it is something to read on the toilet or relaxing on the couch with your favourite show on. it is not a dense book and the information presented won't be new to anybody who spent a little time in the witchcraft community or has read other witchcraft books. they always tend to repeat a lot of the same things.
i liked the illustrations but the ebook is not very nicely layed out for them. there are sometimes three or four pages with just the pictures on them weirdly cropped at the bottom. i imagine that in the physical book you'd have a spread with the text on one page and the illustrations on the opposite one. in the ebook it isn't done like that and it is really frustrating.
the other thing about this design choice is that you don't really need to read the texts. almost everything is already shown in the illustration and there is only a marginal increase in info you get from reading. this is quite disappointing as i wanted to read a book and not a picture book. i am nnot a preschooler and would like to read more about the concepts that are only as much as teased by reference.

all in all it's an okay book. with witchcraft book it is always difficult to find something that you vibe wiht and for me this was okay. nothing i would keep around a lot but also something i would borrow to new witches who just got into it and need a little overview of everything.
