Goblin Market by Christina Rossetti
5.0

She cried, “Laura,” up the garden,
“Did you miss me?
Come and kiss me.
Never mind my bruises,
Hug me, kiss me, suck my juices
Squeez’d from goblin fruits for you,
Goblin pulp and goblin dew.
Eat me, drink me, love me;
Laura, make much of me;
For your sake I have braved the glen
And had to do with goblin merchant men.”

How was this ever considered a children's poem? You have to have a very innocent mind to only see the fruit on display, and not notice the juices being sucked from women's bodies - juices produced by the goblin merchant men's fruits.

It's a wicked poem; wicked, dirty, lush, beautiful, poignant and fun. It's twisted and dark and full of sisterly love. You should definitely read it, even if you never read poetry (I never read poetry, but I'm now thinking that might be a mistake. This one I could listen to on a loop.)
