Love Arranged by Lauren Asher
5.0

ARC Review

Julian, I’m so sorry but I fear that Lorenzo has completely stolen my heart. I’m actually heartbroken that this is the last book in the Lakefront Billionaires series, even though Lauren has said that she might come back to Lake Wisteria, I’ll still miss it dearly. The way people talk about Disneyland, that’s how I feel about Lake Wisteria because there’s just something about it that’s so magical and a place that I yearn to be at. Also, I have to give Lauren Asher her flowers (honestly a bouquet of them) because I've been reading her for years and I feel that this is the book that I've seen from her that she's done something different. I feel that there was a lot of realistic scenarios between Lorenzo & Lily and it just made me love them so much. It's been days since I've finished their book and I still can't stop thinking about them!

I'm honestly surprised that Love Arranged has topped Love Redesigned, I didn't think it could been done, since it's one of my absolute favorites. Another surprise was how much I love Lorenzo, he was such a complex character and seeing his inner turmoil of wanting to be with Lily but also not being able to due to his revenge. Also, his OCD being a big factor was interesting since Lily was able to catch onto it and understand him, she also helped him open up about it, and persuaded to go to therapy not just for her but for himself.

Now to our lovely Lily, oh I love her so and I just want to be her best friend. I knew that her family dynamic was going to be big factor but including her grief about her father was really important since it something that her and Lorenzo had in common. There were parts that I wish she was a bit more selfish since it's obvious that she was trying to keep everything in order but so close to just losing it all. A crash out would've been acceptable from her because it seemed like nothing was going her way but I also like how she was able to put herself first when it came to Lorenzo being indecisive.

Overall, you need to read this book and I can't recommend it enough. There's so many great moments of vulnerability, cuteness, and just the love each couple has for each other. I can write essays about how great this book was and now it just makes me want to go through all of Lauren Asher's books since they're truly magical. Now that this series is done, I can't wait to see what else she writes and best believe that I'll be first in line to read it!
