Annie has had her son Ben to herself for his entire life. But then Daisy appears on the scene. Daisy & Ben marry quickly and are expecting a baby, and Annie's life has been turned upside down.
The first 1/4 of the book was slow for me and hard for me to get in to. I am glad that I persevered, because once I commuted myself to the story, it picked up. Strange events started to happen, and I braced myself for twists and turns. I didn't see the full ending coming, and enjoyed the surprises.
