I thought this book was perfect. This book was Aladdin but switched me to Hunger Games in a brand new way. I've never read anything like this before, and I really enjoyed myself. The friendships and relationships in this book seemed very realistic, and I like how all of them acted out. The friendships were real, and the hatred was real. But so was the love there was never confessed.  I think that talking about something at the beginning of the book and the end of the book and connecting them is something that really makes a book go full circle and complete it, and I love that. I also think that Paedyn outsmarting everyone who estimated her, especially because she is a woman, was something very inspiring. For women to hear and women to read, and it's very truthful.

Now, this is where the spoilers are.
I was so surprised from all the twists and turns which may have been more obvious to other people. But I don't always notice those things. I loved pae and Kai's relationship. And I can't wait to see how it plays out in the future. Especially with how they're both going to take hating each other, but also kind of being in love with each other. So excited!!!
