Beautiful images & writing, I definitely appreciated some of the poems in this collection on a literary level but, overall, it didn’t make me feel anything. Maybe I’m a bit too removed from the war poems, or I don’t get it, but I just felt like it was unnecessarily stuffy. I’ve heard better things about his later works so I’ll definitely read again.
