A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle

You know when there's a food that everyone is raving about and you can't wait to finally try it? Then you do, and you aren't impressed and you're left with the taste of disappointment and anger that it was a waste? That's how I felt about this book. It's supposed to be a classic, and they thought it was good enough to make into a movie, with OPRAH!
I didn't like a single character in this book, I didn't dislike them, I just felt nothing for them. They all seemed flat, no actual personalities. I also felt the whole story was full of cliches, especially the end. The end, by the way, happened so fast I might have missed it except it was the end. Putting a bunch of big, mysterious words in a book, makes nonsense, not a good story. I was expecting so much more from this book and the whole thing was just kind of disappointing, I was left wanting more, but not sure what I want more of. I think the story could have been good, but it just fell flat for me somewhere.
