by Christie Tate
This book started out really interesting, and I was loving it, but I didn't quite like how it developed. As a whole, it disappointed me a bit. It's like it aimed at being [b:Maybe You Should Talk to Someone: A Therapist, Her Therapist, and Our Lives Revealed|37570546|Maybe You Should Talk to Someone A Therapist, Her Therapist, and Our Lives Revealed|Lori Gottlieb|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1547189796l/37570546._SY75_.jpg|59181770] (which is AMAZING), but it actually turned out to be a bad soap opera.
The therapist and his excentric assignments were interesting at first, but it was really frustrating to see how Christie would almost leave her life decisions up to him, with no regard to how SHE was feeling about it. And, if it taught me anything, is that we need to take responsibility for our lives and the decisions we make - and especially the consequences generated by those actions.
I love a good autobiography/memoir, but I guess this one wasn't for me.
