In today's hard world, it's nice to find a book that centers on empathy. Beyond that, Goblin Emperor distinguishes itself by being a rather non-actiony political thriller. Addison create a fun realized world with lots of its own special court jargon to digest. A welcome break for me from more serious non-fiction that I've been reading lately.
