 FMC Tempest is completely disinterested in Flynn Kingman from the start. He has to work to win her attention and she doesn't just swoon in his lap. It's fantastic for the cocky jock to be taken down a peg and interesting to see the younger male perspective he brings to the story. Their banter is hilarious and I especially loved their nerdy debates over all things Shakespeare.

My favourite part was Tempest’s sorority sisters and the Baby Donkeysitters Club. This is the first time we have seen an FMC in this series with a really strong cast of female girlfriends (before she becomes a PAL) and I am here for the strong women supporting women vibes.

Also special mention to AbuelaNovela for being the most awesome, flamboyant, wise and sassy grandma!
